Wear a mask! The finest DIY facial mask for all skin types

Hey Girls!

I’m sure you’re fed up with the topic of masks. No doubt, there are too many people wearing them, right? However, today I’m going to give you some bits and pieces about the facial masks that are ready to give you nothing but benefits – they make your face skin impeccable!

I’m sure you’re well-aware of the fact that facial masks are good at improving the skin, especially when you manage to match the cosmetic to the skin type – then it works wonders! In order to help you witness the positive results such skin care products are able to produce, I’m going to give you a few recipes for top facial masks. Oh, and the best bit is that all the facial masks you’ll find below were tested by me and my friends (various skin types). Let’s get started!

TOP D.I.Y. FACIAL MASKS

1. DIY facial mask for oily skin

This facial mask is like a medicine for oily and damaged skin. Many people labeled it as a pharmaceutical because it gives so marvelous effects when it comes to dealing with oily skin concerns. It combats the enlarged pores and reduces the look of shine on oily skin.

Take 2 teaspoons of gram flour (in case you don’t have it at home, you can use corn flour) and combine it with 1 teaspoon of honey and water each. Try playing with the portions so as to create the consistency of paste. Let the facial mask sit on your skin for 5-10 minutes and rinse with water.

2. DIY facial mask for acne skin

If your skin is prone to acne, combine fresh water, a spoon of dry yeast or 100 g of fresh yeast and lemon juice. It’s hard for me to provide you with the exact proportions, all I can say is that you should obtain a pulp, so to say. Let it sit for 15 minutes and rinse with water.

3. DIY facial mask for dry skin

The easiest and the simplest facial mask to soothe dehydrated skin is made of an egg yolk. Firstly, put on the face a hot towel to warm up the skin and open up the skin pores. Then separate egg yolk from egg white and apply the former to the face. Let it sit for approximately 30 minutes. Later rinse with cool water.

4. DIY gentle facial mask for sensitive skin

Grab a ripe banana, mash it with a fork and combine both with a pinch of white clay and almond oil. Apply to the face and rinse with lukewarm water after 15 minutes. This facial mask cleanses the skin, makes it more radiant and improves moisture.

5. DIY restorative facial mask for mature skin

I guess this facial mask is even simpler than the third one I’ve mentioned above. All you have to do is reach for flax-seed oil and apply it to the face. Optionally you can also put on a cellucotton. Skin needs 20 minutes to win back its lost radiance and good-looks.

6. DIY facial mask for fatigued skin

To prepare this facial mask you need to combine the following ingredients: a portion of ground oats, orange juice and a spoon of milk. Try playing with the proportions to obtain a fairly thick mass that remains on the face for 20 minutes.

7. DIY cleansing peel off facial mask

In order to create the deeply cleansing facial mask you need to combine charcoal, a dash of water and gelatin. Once you obtain an even mass, put it to a microwave. The gelatin should melt, but wait a while before applying the mask to your face. Let it cool down slightly. Otherwise you’ll scald the face. You can spread this mask either all over the skin or use it only to the T-zone. Let it sit on the face until it cakes. You can take it off with one gentle motion.

Did I mention your favorite facial mask? Have you got the fave facial masks? If you do, please leave the recipes below. I’d also love to learn what time you prefer to apply a facial mask: is it morning, evening or a day-off?
