TOP 10 Favorite Oils For Hair And Skin

TOP 10 Favorite Oils For Hair And Skin

Hello, girls!

Do you use oils in your skincare routine? I am their biggest fan. When I tried them, I fell in love with them instantly. As a result, there are fewer products in my makeup bag. Oils are multifunctional, versatile, and irreplaceable when it comes to skincare.

In this post, I would like to convince you that it is really worth using oils. One oil can do much more than several other cosmetics. Are you curious? Read on!

MY FAVORITE SKINCARE OILS

1# Almond oil

It is one of my favorite oils because it is gentle and versatile. It brings soothing relief to irritated skin and is suitable for the OCM method and skin oiling. It is also indispensable in hair care as it makes the hair shiny and easy to comb and style.

2# Argan oil

The most versatile of all oils. It helps regenerate dry skin and protects the hair from heat during styling. I always use it before I reach for a straightener, curling iron, or blow dryer. It is suitable for removing makeup, as well as moisturizing and nourishing the nails and cuticles.

3# Olive oil

It needs no introduction. The best beauty products can often be found in your kitchen. The olive oil must be unrefined, cold-pressed, and feature a high content of EFAs and vitamins. Then it helps moisturize the skin by nourishing and lubricating it deeply. It is also a great base for homemade cosmetics.

4# Jojoba oil

This is a skincare hit that is a great example of a liquid wax. Thanks to it, my combination skin has stopped getting oily in the T-zone. It also works as an indispensable hair conditioner after washing.

5# Castor oil

It is well-known to everyone. It is worth using it on hair, eyebrows, and eyelashes. It helps nourish the scalp, prevents hair loss, and ensures the hair grows healthy, thick, and strong. It gently darkens the eyebrows and eyelashes and accelerates their growth. It is an ideal conditioner that always works. It regenerates nails and cuticles and is also a great base for OCM cleansing. It has both cleansing and antibacterial properties that make face care so effective. Of course, you need to mix it with another oil
 as it is extremely thick.

6# Linseed oil

It is rich in valuable fatty acids, phytosterols, and vitamins. It provides everything our skin needs to be properly nourished and regenerated. It has a slightly nutty smell which may not appeal to everyone. However, it makes the hair thick and shiny. It works well as one of the ingredients in oil blends for cleansing the skin.

7# Coconut oil

Another skincare ally, as long as it is of good quality. It can be used on both hair and skin but you have to work hard to find a decent one. There are a lot of nutrients in coconut oil and it’s definitely one of the best emollients that contributes to skin hydration by preventing water loss from within the skin. It can be used as a body lotion and is also suitable for some hair types.

8# Shea butter

I love it! Especially as a body lotion. As befits butter, it spreads perfectly on the skin and melts when exposed to higher temperatures. The skin immediately becomes soft, smooth, and radiant. Shea butter, moreover, helps achieve a beautiful and healthy tan.

9# Rose oil

My favorite essential oil (and the only one on this list).  It’s really extremely gentle and has anti-aging properties. I apply a few drops on my face and let it absorb. I repeat this action 2 times a week. The scent relaxes me and improves my mood.

10# Cottonseed oil

Perfect for protecting the hair ends. Thanks to it, they finally stopped splitting and crumbling. After just one application I knew this would be my favorite serum. At last!

These are my TOP 10 oils I can’t imagine my skincare routine without. I recommend reaching for at least a few of them and you will also see the beneficial effects they have on your skin.
