The benefits of peloid in skin care

It’s pretty common that various and numerous beauty treatments make use of many natural substances. One of such organic substances is peloid. I’ve been using it for some time now and have to admit that the effects it produces are stunning. If you are interested in such skin care treatments, then let me tell you what peloid is, what are the benefits of using it and how to apply it.

What is peloid?

Peloid is a kind of mud, a rock made from hummus (plants that decay in humid environment). It’s full of beneficial substances such as tannins, mineral salts, acids, waxes, resin, enzymes, proteins and carbohydrates. What effects does peloid have? In short, peloid is responsible for:

  • warming body up, which translates into increased metabolic rate of an organism;
  • fighting off bacteria that may cause skin inflammation;
  • smoothing skin out and boosting blood supply in skin.

When should you make use of peloid? I suggest you to use it when you:

  • suffer from various ailments affecting your skeletal system;
  • are affected by partial paralysis (paresis);
  • suffer from sclerosis;
  • are affected by some digestive and reproductive system diseases;
  • have undergone some reproductive system surgeries;
  • are currently undergoing menopause;
  • want to look better (peloid reduces wrinkles and makes flabby skin more firm).

Sadly, not everyone should make use of peloid. The contraindications to exposing your body to peloid are for example:

  • cancer,
  • pregnancy and period,
  • problems with circulatory system,
  • too young age,
  • general fatigue.

How to use peloid?

You can use peloid to carry out the following beauty treatments:

Mud bath (peloid therapy)

You will need approximately 150 kg of peloid. Mix with water having 42 degrees Celsius. Spread it over your body – this is how you will increase your skin temperature for 3 degrees. Remember to drink huge amounts of water prior to the treatment. The best time to expose your body to mud peloid bath is right after exercising because this is when it’s easier for your body to get rid of harmful substances. This is one thing. The second thing is that peloid has an anti inflammatory effect which is why it prevents cramps and muscle sores. In general, mud bath should take no more than 20 minutes and you must stay focused and observe the reaction of your organizm throughout the entire treatment.

Peloid poultices

A thick layer of peloid (warmed up to 40 degrees Celsius) has to be spread over clean skin. Such poultices are highly recommended in the case of motor system ailments (back pains or joint degeneration), injuries and troublesome symptoms of menopause.

Mud body wrap

This treatment lasts approximately 30 minutes. It’s carried out to relieve painful joints, back and legs. Basically, this treatment is also beneficial to cure cellulite because it stimulates blood flow, supplies skin cells with oxygen and removes toxins.

Cold peloid

If you cool peloid 5 degrees Celsius down, then you can use it as a topical cool poultices. This treatment shouldn’t take longer than 15 minutes. It’s advised to reapply it in the case of joint strain, mechanical injuries and subcutaneous hemorrhage. If the injury is painful, you can make use of cold peloid poultices every two hours.
