Let me introduce you to my favorite make-up and skin care tools proving that the saying “beauty requires sacrifices” is no longer true.
We need to make our lives easier! Without doubts you already know that not caring for the hair or skin daily means trouble. However, this doesn’t mean you need to spend hours every day doing some lengthy beauty treatments – they’re good once in a while. On a daily basis let’s stick to gadgets and tricks that make everything easier and faster.
BEAUTY GADGETS I.E. THINGS I USE FOR EFFORTLESS SKIN CARE & MAKE-UP
1. A face mask brush
Discovery of recent weeks. Though a face mask brush doesn’t sound fancy, it’s a saver. A usual make-up brush – slightly angled, with thick, soft bristles – really makes it easier to smooth a mask all over the face, no matter what type of mask I use. Believer me or not, it’s better to use the brush than smudge the hands. After that, I just rinse the bristle and that’s it. Since I purchased my face mask brush (you don’t need any specially-designed brushes, a regular brush from your make-up set will do), the entire treatment takes less time and gives more pleasure.
2. Glov make-up remover
This trick for easier skin care is an example of minimalism. Fewer products mean less time we need to devote, that’s obvious. That’s why I decided on replacing all make-up removing and face cleansing products with one practical gadget – a cloth for removing make-up with water. You can find this jewel in the Glov offer but I’m sure there are some other brands as well. Then all you need is warm water to effortlessly take off make-up and all nasties that have built up on the skin. The cloth does away even with waterproof make-up and it’s reusable – after use, you just wash it with water and curd soap, and let it dry.
3. Massage jade roller
Another beauty gadget that makes my skin care easier is a face massage jade roller. Do I really vouch for it and think it’s my beauty kit essential? I do because I’m aware that an everyday face massage lets me keep skin young longer. I used to do it with my hands but now I prefer the roller – it fulfils various roles, lets me spread a cream or serum, improves absorption of cosmetics, stimulates blood flow and even reduces puffiness and dark circles under the eyes (the roller is cool). All done with clean hands, nice and easy!
4. Beauty Blender
When I look at my girlfriends, they come in two camps: fans of brushes and fans of sponges. I’m somewhere in between. I like to reach for quality brushes and appreciate the universality of a sponge. If you’re big on gadgets making your make-up routine easier, you must be a fan of Beauty Blender. Firstly, you can use it for applying numerous products such as foundation, concealer (even in tricky places), powder, bronzer, etc. Secondly, you can make use of it for a precision, convenient application of a… moisturizer!
5. Konjac sponge for a face wash
Last but not least, a konjac sponge. Why it’s among my top gadgets? Because it’s reusable, natural, eco-friendly, working great for washing the body and delicate face skin. Another 2-in-1 stunner, in other words, less clutter, less time in the bathroom. What’s important, a konjac sponge doesn’t only wash the skin – it also exfoliates dead cells and gently stimulates blood circulation – one gadget for a face wash, massage and peel.
